AHB - AMBA® High-performance Bus

Arm® provide a number of Bus protocols within the Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture (AMBA), which has been made available as an open-standard for on-chip interconnect and management of functional blocks in System on Chip design. The bus architectures can be used without royalties.

The AMBA High-performance Bus (AHB) is a single clock-edge protocol and provides a full-duplex parallel communication and supporting waits, errors, and bursts.
