Mr Robert Iannello

Robert has been working as a professional in the information industry since 1997, when he graduated as a librarian at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.   In 1998 he embarked on a successful career representing publishers in markets as diverse as Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.

In 2014, he made the pivot to high-tech and joined U.K based technology firm Arm - initially as the University Program Manager and recently as the Senior Product Manager within the Education team. In his current role he’s responsible for the roadmap of educational products designed help to close the skills gap in STEM education. 

Robert is also an evangelist for the use of technology as a way to drive innovation in the publishing world, and to this end he will be part of the judging panel for the 2021 ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing.
