The Department of Electronics Engineering at Chungnam National University is recognized as one of top electronics engineering departments in South Korea due to its excellence both in undergraduate/graduate education programs and in research activities.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has a history of Electronics going back to the Deprtment of Electronics Engineering founded in 1947. It is a research led department that takes great pride in nurturing the creative minds of all students, equipping them with the global competences needed to succeed in the fields of electronics, electrical, and computer engineering. It has 65 dedicated faculty members, over 900 graduate students, and nearing 1,000 undergraduate students.
